Donations and Fundraising

Donations

Monetary and material donations to CASP are always appreciated. We are a 501(c)(3) organization under the IRS code which means your donation to CASP is tax deductible.

CASP always accepts donations of the following items:
  • Gift cards to craft, retail and grocery stores
  • Pencils
  • Tissues/paper towels
  • Scotch/masking/colored or patterned duct tape
  • Glue sticks
  • Ziploc style sandwich bags (generic is fine)
  • Permanent or washable markers
  • Variety of age appropriate games and toys
  • Colorful yarn

If there are any other items you wish to contribute, please contact the CASP Director.

Fundraising

There are several ways you can help CASP raise funds to support our programming. CASP fundraising is designed to be as low-impact as possible and to take advantage of things you're already doing.

CASP Spirit Wear

Returning this year is the CASP Spirit Wear fundraiser! We'll be selling a variety of clothing featuring the CASP logo. For more information, contact the CASP Director.

SaveAround Coupon Books

CASP will be selling the 2019 Ithaca/Cortland SaveAround coupon book as a fundraiser. Books go on sale at the beginning of October and will be available for purchase through December.

SaveAround Coupon Books offer hundreds of coupons for local area restaurants, golf courses, retail services, entertainment and recreation businesses. You’ll find out after using the book just a few times that it pays for itself pretty quickly. Save Around coupon books are great to keep in your car. With the holidays coming, they also make great gifts!

SaveAround Coupon Books cost $25.00 each. For each book sold CASP receives $12.50. If you are interested in purchasing a book, please contact the CASP Director.

SCRIP Gift Card Program

You can help raise money for CASP while doing your everyday shopping and dining out! SCRIP is fundraising while you shop!

Just purchase gift cards for America’s favorite retailers through CASP during the school year and use them in place of cash, checks, or credit cards for purchases you were going to make anyway! Each card purchased carries an associated “contribution” of 2-15% or more to CASP.

Gift cards are available for over 300 national and local retailers. Also available are Visa, MasterCard, and American Express prepaid cards with no activation fee. Groceries, clothing, dining out, movies (at home or in the theater), gas, and home improvement are all things we need and use on a regular basis. They are also things that can be purchased from buying pre-paid gift cards. Of course there are all those special holidays, vacations, birthdays, and times when we just need to treat ourselves or someone we love – SCRIP has cards for those too!

SCRIP order forms are distributed to CASP parents throughout the school year. If you are a community member and interested in supporting CASP by purchasing gift cards, please contact the parent of a CASP student or the CASP Director for further information.
